With the wonders of social media, so many instructors are promoting themselves which is great, but i do wonder if the reason they started in the industry is forgotten.
Not every client wants a six pack, or to be super shredded or the smallest they can be and the reality is what you have to give up to get to this position. Of course there are quick fixes but they can be aggressive, restrictive and not sustainable in the long run. I like to try to change peoples mindset to make small changes for long term sustainable results that allows you to still enjoy all food and drinks without demonising things. Normally if you're told you can't have something you want it more then the likelihood is you'll over consume.
I find it odd when I see people sharing what they eat in a day, its all well and good but we are all very different and i think that can mislead people into thinking one persons diet will make you look like them if you eat like them! Sharing recipes and ideas is a little different.
If you adopt the 80/20 approach(80% nutrient dense food), increase you daily step count, increase water intake, make protein a priority, and stop using the scales as the only way to measure your progress, that number can change daily. Just a few adjustments can make all the difference!
